The enrolment position of the students as on 22/07/2010 is 673 with 368 boys and 305 girls. The school is a two-section school from classes I to X with science & Commerce stream at +2 level . The strength of the staff is 42.

The school is run on a permanent building constructed by MES with 36 room with labs and librarys. The school has twenty one Staff Quarters.

There are three laboratories in the Vidyalaya one each for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The laboratories are well equipped with all the facilities available for practical classes. There are two computer labs in the Vidyalaya one for primary section and the other for the secondary section. There are 50 computers available in the vidyalaya. The school has internet facility with 2mbps and has no LAN.

A well equipped library with over 10000 books of various subjects for the students is a well sought after place for the students. Magazines of all kinds, Newspapers of Hindi, English and Assamese are also avilable.

Sports and Games have received due attention in the Vidyalaya. The students' achievements can be browsed through the Achievement hyperlink on the home page. The school playground is spacious enough to accommodate playing of the games like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Badminton simultaneously. For developing the cognitive domain games like Chess, Chinese Checkers, Scrabble, Mental Games etc have been made available.

The beautification of the school campus can best be done through plantation. The school has meticulously developed the vacant places into permanent and seasonal gardens. At present the school has a Rose garden (about 250 plants of different varieties), a Botanical garden (about 200 plants), and an orchard with 300 orange plants and 400 Pineapple plants. Apart from that the school is developing classwise gardens of seasonal flowers like Dahlia, Phlox, Aster, Dianthus, Marigold, Salvia, Petunia, Delphinium, Candituft, Stock, Gladiolus etc. Children are taking interest in maintaining and watering their Class-Gardens. The school has moreover paid special attention to the plantation of scented flowers. The school has as many as sevens varieties of plants producing scented flowers like Magnolia, Jasmine, Tuberose, Pandanus, Gardenia turgida, Nectanthus arbourtristris etc.
